April 12 – 19, 2026: MARCHING BAND REGISTRATION ONLINE: Visit www.brookwoodband.org to request a registration invitation. The invitation will arrive via email and will include a link that will allow you to register for marching band and pay your non-refundable $325 deposit.
April 18: $325 DEPOSIT DUE All students interested in participating in marching band MUST register on the website and pay the non-refundable $325 deposit by this date. We will be sending in final numbers to our drill writer on May 1 to guarantee your position on the field, hence why the deposit is non-refundable. The total amount projected for marching band is NOT TO EXCEED $650, which includes the cost of band camp. In addition, once you register, there will be an option to break the payment into smaller monthly installments. For all Wind/Percussion Rookie Members, there is a ONE TIME $60 Uniform Rental (only pay first year and exempt the following) that will be billed to you on a separate date. In July, all Wind/Percussion Rookie Members will also have to purchase a pair of marching shoes, which run around $45.
April 20 – April 24: DRUMLINE AUDITIONS 4:30 – 6:30 PM Drumline auditions will run these dates at BHS. Packets will be available mid-March and will be emailed to your schools.
April 20 – April 24: COLORGUARD AUDITIONS 4:30 – 6:30 PM Colorguard auditions will run these dates in the BHS Commons. Packets will be available mid-March and will be delivered to Crews/FFMS.
July 1: Remaining Payment of $300 (not to exceed $325) for Marching Band Dues. BBA Budget Voting on May 4 during Spring Concert to determine the 2nd payment. Total fees will not exceed $650.
July 13-22: MANDATORY Band Camp for all Bronco Marching Band Members

Thursday, July 16: 9am-12:30 pm (Lunch on your own/Bring a lunch 12:30 – 2:00 pm) and 2pm-6pm, Talent Show 8pm-10pm in BHS Theater
Friday, July 17: 9am-12:00 pm (Lunch Provided in Commons 12-1pm), 1:00pm-3:00pm, and Band Pictures 5:30-8pm
Saturday, July 18: REST, REPAIR, AND REJUVENATE!
July 17: Band Pictures will begin at 5:15 pm in BHS Commons
Sunday, July 19 – Wednesday, July 22: AT OGLETHORPE UNIVERSITY To participate in marching band, this is absolutely a mandatory event for all members. Please note that you must arrange for your own transportation. Many people carpool and it’s a rather short drive!! Please note that the cost of band camp is included in the total fee of $650!! August 6 – October 8: Regular Mandatory Marching Rehearsals (members remain at BHS after school)
- Mondays: Percussion 2:30 – 4:30 pm and Guard 3:00 – 5:00 pm
- Tuesdays and Thursdays: ALL Marching Band Members 3:00 – 5:30 pm
MONDAY October 5 OR TUESDAY October 6: Gwinnett Exhibition TBD begins at 6:00 pm
SATURDAY September 26, SATURDAY October 3 OR October 10 are the Competition Dates!! All marching band members will participate in TWO mandatory and graded competitions. As soon as locations are released, we will announce the final two dates and destinations. Dr. Stanley believes they will be 9/26 and 10/3. Competitions will be local (travel by school bus to and from on same day – no overnight).
